How do medical schools inform you about an interview?

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

My first choice medical school has updated the status of my supplementary question. It was changed from “under review” to declare that the Board has made a decision and am waiting for an official letter in the mail in 30 giorni.Sto thought that if the school wanted to meet for an interview, would not have waited for 30 days. As medical schools to inform an applicant for an interview? email, mail or phone? What would you do this? 30 days is a time to sit in the dark. Thanks for your responses.

Hospitals are expensive places. Not just a hospital must be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, managers also must pay for all the specialized personnel any time of day and the cost of high bills monthly energy. No wonder that some hospitals and clinics can not afford the high costs month after month. If a hospital is busy, is common for administrators to close a wing of the hospital or at all. There are still many pieces of medical equipment, however, that are in working condition when this happens. In most cases, this equipment and additional supplies are restored and sold to another hospital or clinic and used medical equipment. However, elsewhere decided to donate this equipment to medical schools.

It is very important to have educational materials available to physicians the future of this country to use! Therefore, when their nerves and fire are almost empty, they need to know how to make the most essential basis without even thinking. All practices have a medical school to become the best medical help that may be even before they make workforce.

If you have access to operate the equipment and medical supplies and would like to help future doctors of America, or anywhere in the world, you should seek to give a medical school. The gift of education is one of the best gifts you can ever give!

Ace Your Medical School Interviews!

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Doing well in his medical school interview depends on preparation and performance. Do not take the MCAT without spending countless hours studying and practicing the questions, right? Similarly, it is important to spend time preparing for your interview.
The best way to prepare for medical school interviews is to practice with someone and do interviews at all. Get a list of interview questions and questions are typical of his friend. First, easy start to get used to being interviewed. At the same time, the interviewer has to observe their body language. For example, hang? Do not sit upright? You lick your lips after completing their sentences? They say the “how” and “Um” when talking about? These are all things you want to work before entering the interview room. Interviewers want to consider and do my best to sound as professional as possible.
Once you are comfortable answering questions, ask your friend to ask tough questions and to press it now. During medical school interviews, interviewers deliberately ask questions that make you feel uncomfortable. The point is to see how well you do under pressure. When you are a physician, patients who are rude and unpleasant, but had to stay calm and be professional. Accustomed to the grid. Fortunately, not all interviewers in the grill. On the other hand, do not know what interview was grilled and then help you prepare well.
Finally, I would suggest the following way, if you have time. Record yourself and study. Try to see if there is anything you can do exercise. You smile when he talks? There is energy and sincerity when he speaks? If you want to be a record, then go into your bathroom and talk to you in the mirror. Get comfortable looking at themselves as we speak because he wants to be sure as you can when you interview. It is really uncomfortable at first when I looked in the mirror, but the more I did, I felt more comfortable and confident when responding to questions about why he wanted to be a doctor.
Once you’ve done your homework, you must perform well on the day of the interview. As you probably heard, practice makes perfect. Well, this translates into medical school interviews as well. Best practice, best carried out on the day of the interview. Now, things are never predictable. Maybe you have a question that is not ready. Okay, when this happens, keep your cool and not panic. Take time to talk and not talk. This is the worst thing to do and if you really do not know the answer, say so. It is better to admit to not knowing something rather than answers.
In addition, the day of the interview, it is important that you show your energy and enthusiasm. We can speak without stuttering very well or whatever, but if you have the heart behind their answers. It seems as if they really want. Interviewers are looking for that. They do not want to accept if not sound like you want to be a doctor. Why should they? There are many candidates out there that would make great doctors. So it should be noted. You have to look at the interviewer in the eye and say every word you say. You must convince your interviewers not only with words but with sincerity and passion.
Good luck in your medical school interviews!
